Ridgway Pomerania Early 19th Cen Black Transfer Staffordshire Large Wash Basin
Fine antique Staffordshire transferware wash basin 13 inches wide by 4 3/8 inches tall by John Ridgway (1830 - 1841) in the "Pomerania" Romantic pattern. Circa 1835. Unmarked. Pomerania was a Prussian province on the shores of the Baltic. It is now part of Poland. Pomerania is a multi-motif series with particularly fine printing.
Very good condition, save for a small spider on the base and a short rim hairline, shown from above and below, but visible only from below. Please view the detail photos.
