Mid Century Modern Cobalt Blue Bion Pottery Handled Vase

Offered for sale is this fine cobalt blue bulbous pottery vase, sturdily potted and double handled. Mid 20th century. Marked "BION" in black under the glaze. The translucent glaze on the white bodied vase creates a stripe of lighter blue along the edges of rim and handles.

The vase stands 6 3/4 inches tall. It weighs 3 lb 4 oz (shipping weight 5 lbs).

Condition: Very good save for a small scrape in the glaze on the rim, as shown. Does not go through to the clay. Please view the detail photos.
